LLZH & People
LLZH is an innovative and collective project for supporting Chinese students to get a better delivery of arts and cultural context in the University of Leeds through an approachable media strategy on Chinese social media platforms including Weibo, One Strreaming and Wechat.
Our team members come from different research backgrounds: Applied Theater, Culture Creativity and Entrepreneurship and Performance Design. We are dreamers and doers who are developing our interests in innovation, media strategy, collaboration, creative content and audience engagement.
Our shared experience as being international students from China is that we could not access more useful information about real life at the University of Leeds. Therefore, with a great curiosity and enthusiasm, we put the power of arts into our streaming programmes, to achieve a positive transformation of people’s impressions of our University.

Through digital strategy developing, advertising planning, design (of all kinds), we introduce art works and events within campus in our creative production - streaming programmes.
We deliver the real, cultural and creative life in Leeds campus to our Chinese target audience.

We are students, entrepreneurs, inventors, and artists.

We value our teammates who have creativity and talents coursing through their veins.

I used live streaming to communicate with the audience in real time to collect the content of interest to them and lead them to experience the cultural atmosphere of the city of Leeds while bringing them humanistic care. I collected information and combined my experiences with Leeds’ Student Residences, Nightlife Culture, and British Wine Culture.

Personally interested in Chinese traditional culture, such as Chinese Caligraphy (writing arts) and Qin (an instrument). Through PACE project I would like to explore that how to deliver the information about artistic and cultural activities in campus (like exhibitions and performances) to audience through a more acceptable way. Moreover, I'm interested in trying different forms of presentation during live streaming and writing to achieve wider apprieciation.

Hi, I am Lin Zhou.

studying Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (CCE)
As one member of the team, I am responsible for the social media strategy and connect international office to see if we can design an efficient communication mode to improve the situation. I believe that a global outlook is necessary to make sure all prospective students within a certain culture group, including different languages or social media circles, could have full access to get the latest news and information about their University

I'm Jiali Zhu.

I pay more attention to experience different culture and arts which inspired me to study abroad. As I attended various activities and watched some performance in campus, I believed that these information that we didn't know before we came could be important for coming students to know where they live and what they can do. The experience of myself devoting to the livestream process and I hope it can help us get closer to audience.
